Hi all, We will have the weekly HCI meeting at DGP lab meeting room tomorrow (Tuesday,Dec. 1st) at 12:30pm. Two DGP lab members Aakar Gupta and Haijun Xia will lead the brainstorming on two topics. The brief disciptions of the topics they will brainstorm with the group are listed as the following: 1) Aakar Gupta: "Applications for Finger Identification". 2) Haijun Xia: "Consider modeling the content in an application and its change with a state machine: properties describe the states, while commands (and tools) drive the transitions. Most existing systems are command-centered: users execute commands to make transitions. Attribute Objects, on the other hand, enables direct access to states, with transitions driven by the manipulations of AOs. However, one limitation of this concept is the limited means (the number of direct manipulation gestures) to drive the transitions. I will brainstorm ideas to overcome this problem." Lunch will be provided. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. Thanks, Mingming
To whom it may concern,
Could you remove me from your mailing list? I thought I have requested it before and didn't sign up for the new mailing list but I guess it has not gone through.
