Hello everyone,
We are going to have our biweekly HCI group meeting tomorrow at the usual time and place (12.30 in the seminar room). Zhen will lead a brainstorming session about ‘3D paper’. Below is a brief introduction about the topic from Zhen:
The PDF version of a paper is perfect for printing, with proper fonts/line-spacing and compact figure/table layout. However, it is far from perfect in the digital world. I am interested in how to break the constraints of the physical layout (elements tiled on the 2D pages), and what interactions and visualizations should be included in such a 3D paper.
See you then!
Regards,
Jiannan
