"In the last few years, while repair and maintenance have gotten significant attention in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), the case of e-waste from its generation to processing has remained largely understudied. However, HCI, ICTD, and relevant disciplines are turning attention to this post-use phase of technology. In this talk, Rifat will discuss a subset of initial findings from a three-months-long ethnography at e-waste markets in Dhaka, Bangladesh. "
