DGP has strong showing at CHI 2024
DGP had a whopping 32 papers accepted to CHI 2024, the premier conference for human-computer interaction research. Otman Benchekroun leads the first iteration of DGP Academy
Otman Benchekroun led the creation of the first DGP Academy, which offers high school students the opportunity to engage in hands-on computer graphics activities and get a comprehensive view of graduate studies. Students learned about topics ranging from 3D printing to linear algebra and calculus. Prof. Buxton appointed to the Order of Canada
Congratulations to Prof. Buxton, who has been appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada for his work in HCI and user-centred design! Prof. Buxton has been a member of the DGP since the early years of the group and has published and collaborated with students and faculty here in the decades since.
