Our 7-week machine learning (ML) training program provides education, mentorship, and hands-on project experience to women and people whose genders are underrepresented in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) industry.

Program dates: May 2nd to June 21st, 2022 -

Cost: We charge no tuition fees ($75 registration fee for accepted applicants only) -

Stipend: Every participant receives a stipend of minimum $500 -

Location: Virtual with possibility of in-person opportunities in Montreal, Edmonton, and/or Toronto

Eligibility:

Valid status to study or work in Canada -

Registered at a post-secondary institution or have recently graduated -

Strong math background, some Python programming experience -

No machine learning experience necessary!

Program summary:

4-week machine learning bootcamp with lectures from Canadian AI researchers including Dr. Doina Precup -

Speaker series from top industry professionals, ML researchers, and social good leaders -

3-week development of ML projects for social good. Participants work in teams and receive mentorship from AI experts
