Dear Professor Ishtiaque Ahmed,
I hope you are well.
I have been made aware that my email last week contained an incorrect link for the City Internships application form. Please accept my apologies for this error. A corrected link for your students is as follows:
https://city-internships.com/apply https://sendmail2.city-internships.com/l/9aIczNKs892sZ9vHTpL42Jyw/R2qAK07RMUpqAygsxfhEIQ/892qB714GWg1qj7633QQfUepzQ
Applications for our 2021 programs are of course now open, so interested students are encouraged to begin applying. The demand we expected has certainly materialized, but availability of places remains good at this point in time.
Best wishes,
Lewis

Dear Professor Ishtiaque Ahmed,
I hope you are well.
A little later than usual, please find my first communication of the 2020/21 academic year below.
As always, if you think its contents will be of interest to your students, please share it with them. And, to the extent you are still able to reach them, your recent alumni too.
*In-person programs resume summer 2021*
While we have refrained from launching our summer 2021 in-person programs so far, we are now taking a more – albeit cautiously https://sendmail2.city-internships.com/l/9aIczNKs892sZ9vHTpL42Jyw/PiDYZ3BtFNtVsKD3a9X4gA/892qB714GWg1qj7633QQfUepzQ – optimistic stance, and will be opening admissions for all summer 2021 programs publicly on Sunday 1st November.
Naturally, places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. And we anticipate unusually high demand.
Correspondingly, I would like to invite students interested in joining a summer 2021 in-person program to apply now, in advance of the public release, here:
www.city-internships.com/apply/ https://sendmail2.city-internships.com/l/9aIczNKs892sZ9vHTpL42Jyw/jTCX1WIQHjxuXAezJsp3rQ/892qB714GWg1qj7633QQfUepzQ
(We will not be providing in-person programs before June 2021. Yet, our expanded covid-19 assurances https://sendmail2.city-internships.com/l/9aIczNKs892sZ9vHTpL42Jyw/PiDYZ3BtFNtVsKD3a9X4gA/892qB714GWg1qj7633QQfUepzQ and student financial aid https://sendmail2.city-internships.com/l/9aIczNKs892sZ9vHTpL42Jyw/xA41QcVQ0XpTXyeHmb2YTw/892qB714GWg1qj7633QQfUepzQ will remain in place for all students indefinitely.)
*Special remote programs for seniors & new graduates*
Our attention in recent months has largely been focused on those whose careers face most imminent disruption; seniors without work experience and new graduates without direct pathways to work.
In concert with our academic partners, we have developed two special derivatives of our Remote Program – SemesterAccelerator and GradLaunch https://sendmail2.city-internships.com/l/9aIczNKs892sZ9vHTpL42Jyw/ogOECD6QVcVVFBpfxfYUDA/892qB714GWg1qj7633QQfUepzQ – to address the needs of these two groups.
The former is a part-time, semester-length program for Seniors (and other students similarly affected by widespread internship cancellations this year) to gain work experience before they graduate and enter the jobs market. The latter is specifically for recent graduates currently navigating the (obviously distressed) jobs market.
Students may learn more here https://sendmail2.city-internships.com/l/9aIczNKs892sZ9vHTpL42Jyw/ogOECD6QVcVVFBpfxfYUDA/892qB714GWg1qj7633QQfUepzQ. And apply here https://sendmail2.city-internships.com/l/9aIczNKs892sZ9vHTpL42Jyw/lKM0Kr0K9YVybxiuIp763vDw/892qB714GWg1qj7633QQfUepzQ .
*Academic partnerships*
We were required to redirect a significant proportion of our resources towards ensuring our Spring and Summer students were successfully transferred from in-person to remote placements earlier this year. And, as a consequence, I allowed progress on new Academic Partnership enquiries to fall by the wayside.
For those who submitted academic partnership requests in June and July, but did not receive a response, I apologize. I will reach out to you directly in the coming days.
With thanks and best wishes Lewis
