Dr. Robert Soden (cc'd) and I are interested in starting a reading group for reading and discussing interesting papers/books on Critical Computing. Many of you have already met Robert and some of you already know that Robert is joining our Department (jointly with the School of Environment) in Fall 2020. His vast knowledge of Sociology and Critical Theory will be a great resource for us.
We are planning to hold the meeting online at a convenient time so that we all can participate. But before that please let me know if you will be interested in joining the group. You can directly reply to this email and let us know about your interest. Once we know how many of you will join, we will inform others in DGP to join us.
Also, I would need one of you to help us in scheduling the meeting, setting up a Hangout link, keeping track of readings, etc.
