Besides the obvious question of privacy, I wonder if this may also create other problems. For example, if giving blood becomes more of a matter of social status than of a need-based response, people may stop donating blood when there is no associated social media. Also, if this gets mainstream, I wonder if people will be forced to use Facebook if they need blood. I am thinking ...
