In tomorrow's lecture, we are going over binary search trees, which
are the focus of assignment 3, so make sure to come to lecture or to
get notes from a friend if you miss it.
Note that A3 is due by the start of lecture on Thursday, November 2,
which gives you a week-and-a-half, but you should be able to complete
this assignment in one week.
As announced in class, for A3, A4 and A5, there will be a deadline
for late submissions with accompanying petition (for medical or other
unavoidable reasons). The deadline for late A3 submissions with accompanying
petition is Monday, November 6 at noon.
A (dynamic) syllabus has been posted below. Hopefully it will give
you a better idea of what we have covered in class and what we plan
to cover.
Linked from the syllabus are the questions of the week, which are interesting
problems that arise in lecture and that you may need to understand for
assignments, term tests and/or the final exam. The questions
of week 7 are now up.
