Current Crises
Documents,
Reports and Resources pertaining to a number of world crises are often difficult
to find. For a a number of issues, therefore, we have put together resources
which will help to increase your knowledge and understanding of these crises.
Members of Science for Peace are actively working on gathering resources for other crises around the world. You are invited to join Science for Peace in order to add to our research and presentation materials. The United States Government has recently
suggested that Iraq poses a threat to peace in the Middle East and is also
a direct threat to the people of the U.S. This threat is supposedly due to
te development of "Weapons of Mass Destruction" by the Iraqi regiem during
the 1990's when Iraq was under the harshest sanctions ever imposed by the
U.N. on a member state. Click on the Iraq flag to read many of the documents
