Hi Everyone,

We will be doing a training session for the equipment in the hardware lab in 5180 on Friday March 6th at 3:00 pm . This is an update, so not required for those who already have access but recommended as we will be reviewing useful information about the 3d printers (Ultimaker, Stratasys and Form), how to print to it remotely and how to dispose of cleaning station fluid correctly, as well as some laser cutter tips.

Room access will be enabled for those who attend the training, subject to faculty approval. If you do not have access to the dgp wiki (https://www.dgp.toronto.edu/dgpwiki/5180MonitorAndCleanup) please let me know.

I will also follow it with an introduction to conferencing and recording systems we now have it place in the lab, mostly based in the seminar room. I’ll talk about how to invite remote participants by phone or video, record lectures and run multiple simultaneous input sources to different screens in the room. You can choose to attend only the seminar room portion, which will start at 3:30.
