Newcastle island is a little island near Naniamo, B.C.
It is far enough away from city lights to let you see stars in the night sky you
wouldn't be able to see otherwise. (I saw quite a few shooting stars last time I
went there, either that or it was the Mir....)
We went camping a few times on the island, and once there was even swing dancing !
kanaka bay.. we went swimming and i lost a lens (from my glasses, not my eye)
Lavina, Brenda, Katie and I got lost exploring the island so we circled around the outside of it...
oooh. low tide and a Moonsnail casing!
