CSC 180: Final Exam - Fall 2005
Date, time, location:
- You will have 150 minutes to complete the exam.
- Please check the
Faculty of Engineering Exam Schedule
for the date and time of the exam, as well as your room assignment.
- You must go to the correct room, as shown in the
schedule above.
- You will not be allowed to enter the room if you are more than 60
minutes late.
Bring the following items to the exam:
- Your student card. (You will be asked to present it.)
- Writing implements. (Either pencils or pens are fine.)
- Optional: aid sheet
- You must use the official yellow Engineering Faculty aid sheet
handed out in class on Nov 29 - Dec 1.
- You may write on both sides.
- You must write the notes yourself. (No typing, no photocopies.)
Do not bring other aids (eg, no calculators, no text books).
You will leave your packs at the front of the room. All cell phones must
be turned off.
What is covered on the test:
- You are responsible for all of the material presented in lectures,
tutorials, and practicals from day 1 of term to the last day of the
term.
- You are also responsible for relevant material from the required
textbook readings. "Relevant material" means material that relates to
the lecture material. (Therefore, for example, you will not
be tested on the "continue" and "goto" statements since they were
not discussed in lecture.)
- The required readings were: Chapters 1-6, Section 7.3, Chapter 8,
Sections 9.1-9.5, Chapters 11-13, and Sections 17.1-17.4.
- The material covered on the exam will have a bias towards material
presented after the midterm, but earlier material will also be
included.
