Floating Spheres

By Puneet Kaur

Showcase 1

I created a triangular arrangement of crystal spheres hovering above a mirror floor. The background walls are split into complementary colored triangles (aqua and magenta), adding visual rhythm and depth. A hidden yellow plane is only visible in reflections, producing a subtle half-moon glow through the spheres. Features implemented include reflective spheres and coloured triangle walls, along with a mirror plane and another hidden yellow plane, defined in the JSON objects section.

Showcase 2

This version simplifies the scene, focusing on the floating crystal spheres over a mirror plane with three colored planes in the background. By removing extra triangles, the piece emphasizes symmetry, reflections, and light. Implemented using the spheres, mirror plane, and three background planes in the JSON scene.

Showcase 3: Glass & Metallic Walkway

Glass spheres float along a reflective path, accompanied by metallic spheres of various colors. Transparent glass planes interact with light to produce reflections, creating depth and a floating effect. Features include glass materials, metallic spheres, and multiple light sources carefully placed for realistic reflection and a walkway effect, all defined in the JSON objects and lights sections.
