Planet in the Solar system
By Yin Ming Chan→Description
Earth: This is what we have done in A6
Jupiter: Added stripe to mimic the stripe on Jupiter. Added the Great Red Spot on Jupiter by fixing the center of the storm and colour a circle around it red. To determine whether a position is in the storm, we used the straight line distance between the center and the point. This results in a slightly distored storm, which is more realistic to the real Great Red Spot compare to a perfect circle. The surface is smooth since it’s a Gas Giant. The boundary of the Gread Red Spot is also interpolated with the underlying colour of jupiter.
Uranus: Chose a colour scheme to mimic Uranus. Again it’s a Gas Giant so the surface is smooth.
Neptune: Same with Uranus.
