Built on a Pentium II machine, unfortunately; I wanted to build it on the oldest machine I could find, for maximum compatibility, but in a choice between a 486 running redhat 5.2 and a pentium II running redhat 5.0 I chose the redhat 5.0 machine... I think that this was the right choice; I don't think it's got anything pentium-II-specific compiled into it as the "glibc" rpm says "386". I've found that this (also) runs on a plain pentium (with redhat 5.2), and [about to test] on a 486 running redhat 5.2. So I think it will run on just about anything running redhat linux 5.x or 6.x.
