Redhat 6.0 comes with sendmail 8.9.3. Redhat 5.2 doesn't, and can't install the rh6.0 rpm. So I built sendmail 8.9.3 on a redhat 5.2 machine. This binary is pentium-II-specific, maybe. At least, the sendmail build command put it in a directory called "obj.Linux.2.0.36.i686". So it might not work on a plain pentium, or a 486 or earlier. I'd assume you can use the makemap and other stuff which came with redhat 5.2 as part of sendmail 8.8.7.
