You are invited to participate in an optional research study on privacy
concepts, and how they can affect us in this age where all devices and
accounts are connected. Participation is entirely voluntary and there is
no obligation nor need to participate if you do not want to do so.

Participation in this study will include answering a 30-minute online
survey related to smart home device usage. The survey will be answered
online via an invitation link sent by the researchers. Participants will
receive a $10 Amazon gift card for participating in the study. We are
interested in responses from people who have and don't have these
devices in their homes.

All collected data will be stored in an encrypted and password-protected
file on the Ontario Tech University’s enterprise cloud storage.
Information will be stored until 07/24/2021.
