I won't be going but will be attending virtually. My iSchool PhD student Jaisie Sin will attend in person, and she will run a panel on voice assistants for older adults (I'm on the panel too :) ) My CS PhD student Benett Axtell will present a paper remotely. Yaxi Zhao who is an iSchool PhD student will also present a paper (she is not my student, but the paper is the "product" of a seminar course she took with me last year).

Cheers,

Cosmin

SubjectLine: Who's going to CHI in person, and virtually? Or who has students going?

1.Feel free to reply-all, reply to me, or add your information into this Gdoc:
tiny.cc/tchi22 - Useful Information for UofT people going to CHI (who's going, what events to check out, who to talk to)

Who's attending CHI?

Physically

2.You can forward this email on to your students or others.

I figured I'd connect people so we're aware!

3.Also you might want to refresh yourself on Shion Guha's great Gdoc with UofT papers/events at CHI: UofT at CHI 2022

Best,

Joseph
