Just a reminder we have an HCI research meeting tomorrow. The meeting will be split into two parts:

One of our awesome labmates, Nicole, will be giving the first presentation of the semester and she'll be talking about how to run effective brainstorming sessions with the group. 

This is a really important topic because going forward we want to see more people brainstorm to the DGP group as a whole. In the past this has been a really valuable opportunity to get your ideas out there and have people from a wide variety of backgrounds give constructive feedback. 

If you want to run a brainstorming session of your own please please send me an email and I can schedule you in, I think these are higher priority than most other things we do so I would love to see more of them. 

Next week is UIST! So I thought we'd watch some video previews, at least for the best papers and we'll also have some discussion surrounding them.
