Hello everyone,

As part of our recent toy purchase we got a set of IDEO method cards depicting various techniques in user research, ideation and design. IDEO, as many of you know, is a prominent design firm based in Palo Alto which was an early proponent of design thinking.

We should spend a session or part of one reading through them together so we can add them to our arsenal of tools.

If no one has a presentation or activity suitable for the second half of tomorrow's session, I'd be happy to use it to lead this exploration.

Cheers,
Velian

Hello folks,

Our weekly meeting will be at 12:30 this Tuesday(tomorrow). Rachel will
present something about her ubicomp2016 submission. However, we still need
one more presenter if possible. Perhaps those who went to CHI this year
share an overview of the conference? As usual, food will be provided. If
you are receiving this message, we assume you are coming and will be
ordering food for you. Please ping if you will not be attending.

Looking forward to seeing you.

Best,
Zhicong
