Also just a quick promo email for the demonstrations at Interactive Surfaces and Spaces conference (ISS 2017) will be in Brighton (UK) from 17th to 20th of October 2017 …

This year the ISS interactivity night will be collocated with the Spatial User Interaction (SUI 2017) interactivity session to double the fun! We have also invited media to cover the event and hope this will be a great opportunity for you to publicize your exciting research even more. Additionally, all demos will be entered into a competition and the best demo in each theme (on-body, virtual, physical and public space) will win a free registration to the conference.

We are looking for exciting demos even though they may have been presented somewhere else in the past, i.e. a short 2 pages abstract with few modifications will be accepted as long as the demo is original and exciting!

Note that we will be able to provide Demo Honorarium for up to 10 students who are travelling more than 500 miles to bring their demos to the demo reception on the 17th October. The total value of the honorarium will be about $400 per student (this may include discounted prices for hotel bookings). In addition to this, we will augment the honorarium with a 50% discount on conference early-bird registration cost for the selected students.

Let us know if you have any questions, deadline is the 19 of July!
We look forward to seeing you in Brighton!
