Btw I wonder if including the zoom link in the email and calendar event would increase attendance as the "user experience" of joining is easier?

Also I'd suggest having a Google Doc that you all use for these meetings where people can jot down notes, add links etc. Anyone up for creating on and linking to it from the calendar invite/email?

You could probably even create an email template blaine in that gdoc, and just copy/paste each time!

just friendly suggestions, feel free to ignore or think of a better Prototype for achieving the Design Goals I'm implicitly getting at.

Thanks *so much *to Blaine for organizing this. I *HIGHLY* recommend people join even if just for 5 mins. I often feel very reluctant to do anything social during covid isolation, but reduce friction by joining for just 5 mins to wave and say hi. It shows the organizers and other people that you appreciate what they are doing.

Hi Everyone!

Tomorrow in the HCI meeting we will talk about brainstorming sessions, tips on how to make the best of them… plus discuss how we can have productive brainstorming sessions in covid times.  And naturally, what better way do that than via a brainstorming session on (remote) brainstorming? :D

If you have a few idle minutes today, try to think of ways we can better support remote brainstorming. And join us tomorrow at 10am.

Best,

Blaine
