Faster, Larger, Smarter: Novel methods of fabricating mechanical objects using commercial personal fabrication machines

Abstract: I will present LaserStacker, a system that allows creating 3D mechanical objects using a laser cutter; TrussFab, which allows building room-sized objects using desktop 3D printers, and Digital Mechanical Metamaterials, a metamaterial that incorporates mechanisms and combinational logic into 3D printed objects.

Let me know if you want to meet him after the talk.

Best,
Seongkook
