• Patrick Coleman is awarded ATI graduate fellowship 2005.

• Eurographics 2005 tutorial  on Interactive shape modeling (Karan Singh).
• A new geometric curve primitive called a Cord was used extensively in the Academy Award winning film Ryan by the National Film Board of Canada (2004).
• Tovi Grossman, Daniel Wigdor, and Ravin Balakrishnan received the Best Paper award at the ACM UIST 2004 conference for their paper Multi-finger gestural interaction with 3-D volumetric displays.
