As of July 1, 2002, I am an assistant professor at the University of British Columbia. Please see my UBC homepage. I was a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science, University of Toronto, Canada. I was a member of the Dynamic Graphics Project lab, was associated with the Knowledge Media Design Institute and the Interaction Research Group, and was an IBM Center For Advanced Studies Fellowship Student . My Research interests fall within the area of of Human-Computer Interaction. In particular, I looked at how to design complex computer technology to better support the needs of the user.
