I am currently an assistant professor at the University of California, Davis .


Research Interests

My current research is focused on developing tools and techniques that will allow animators to create more realistic and expressive character animation.  I am interested in most things to do with expressive movement, as well as many other areas of computer animation and computer graphics.  My previous research focused on modeling explosions and brittle fracture.
