Dear Teachers,

Do you want to excite your students with moviemaking?

Do you have a video project you'd love to do with your students?

Are you looking for easy-to-use desktop video software?

You need CineKit!

At the University of Toronto, we have developed CineKit a Movie Authoring and Design Software (previously known as MAD), which is currently in the beta testing stage and will soon be launched as a product by the Expresto Software Corp. (www.expresto.com) If you are a teacher who would like to make movies with your students, read on!

CineKit is an integrated set of tools for script writing, storyboarding, recording and editing of audio and video, creating transitions and titles, and presenting movies. You will be able to transmit your movies by email or post them on the web, or you may want to send them home the 'old fashioned' way on video tape. CineKit is your complete multimedia solution.

And it's easy to use. Kids in grades 5 through 7 have enthusiastically used CineKit in multimedia camps and classroom projects. Our youngest user was 7 years old. Teachers are also using CineKit. After using CineKit in multimedia workshops, teachers have taken it back to their schools and are using it with students in a variety of multimedia projects.
