They now include A2 and A3. There are some outstanding remark requests, however. Two people have zeros for A3 since they neither made a submission nor were credited in a submission made by a partner--get in touch ASAP if you see a zero for A3.

And the winners are...

Animations
1st place: Amanda Manarin (Rilakkuma Waking from His Nap)
2nd place: Tyler de Witt (Collected Demos)
3rd place: Andrew Toth and Nathan Chan (Three Point Competition)

Honorable mentions (in no particular order):
Yuhang Huang and Qiwei Wang (Battle Between Two Robots)
Christian Damianidis and Matthew Zeiler (Superbot)
Johnathan Tai and Andrew Duong (R2: Raging Robots!)

Ray Tracers
1st place: Denis Pankratov and Oles Zhulyn (Collected Images)
2nd place: Aaron Lee and Yingbo Tan (Collected Images)
3rd place: Andre Kalamandeen (Refraction and Antialiasing Demos)

Honorable mentions (in no particular order):
Cameron Gorrie (Collected Images)
Anastasios Zouzias and Lei Wei (Teapot Circle)
Abderahmane Allalou and Jean Bernard Yung Hing Hin (Still Life with Martini)
Branislav Brujic and Stefan Acin (Snowman)
Goran Trajkovski and Taehyung Kim (Quadrics)

There was lots of other great work too--great job everyone! I've shown your work to some other graphics folks who were really impressed. I'll post a compilation video on the web in the next day or two and we'll add them to the Wooden Monkey page in the next few weeks. For the ray tracer, the stand-out images are listed above. In some cases it was one that stood out a lot; in other cases is was quality of work across a variety of images. For the animations, there seems to be a general theme of robots not getting along so well. :-)

Again, this was judged entirely independently of your marks (the TA who marked A3 was not involved in judging) and reflects in no way on what anyone got mark-wise. We considered creative quality, technical quality, demonstration quality, and any work done beyond the assignment options.
Some reminders for Assignment 3: It’s due next Monday. We’re marking on CDF Linux, everything needs to build and run on CDF Linux machines without requiring us to install anything. Your report is important--it’s where we’ll be looking to see what you did, how you did it, and where we can find the implementations in your code. Check the A3 bulletin board for clarifications on particular parts of the assignment.
